Introducing: The Arabella Collection

November 18, 2011. Behind The Scenes

Posted by John

I’m very excited about the new Arabella Dining Collection we have in our stores now! It was a long hot day in Asia at a supplier’s show room in the middle of nowhere China, and the last thing he showed us was the Arabella dining collection. In this job it is hard not to get emotionally attached to the products we buy, but I was immediately taken with the Arabella Sideboard. I had to get this into our line-up and finally here it is! The extension dining table and bookcases really pulls this collection together.

Shown: Arabella Sideboard, Dining Chair, Glass Cabinet, Double Bookcase, and Dining Table. (All dining furniture and accents are 15% off until November 27th – see all current sales)

There is such a variety of furniture available to us, but I always come back to these rustic wood pieces as my favorites. They just seem to offer lasting style and quality and the organic feel of solid wood just can’t be beat. I like to think that families will be gathered around this table for years to come—Grandma’s home-made cranberry sauce, turkey and pumpkin pie!

I work with Urban Barn Etobicoke and this is one of my favorite collections to show my customers…it is elegant and hand crafted solid beauty…thanks for adding these pieces…I know everyone will love them…

I can not believe what inferior quality this crap is! We bought the dining table and a year later the finish is bubbling and peeling off all over. It is also cracking in the centre and on one of the legs. I have since come to learn from Canadian craftsmen that buying furniture from the third world in humid countries is a huge recipe for disaster and a giant waste of money. Seriously – smarten up urban barn!
