Throughout the Blanket The Country In Warmth campaign, we’d like to feature some of the shelters we’ll be providing blankets to. We’ll be featuring a shelter every Friday during the campaign. It’s wonderful to see where and who your donations are benefitting. If you’re not yet familiar with the campaign, take a look at the Blanket The Country website for more details.

Covenant House Vancouver

The young people who come to Covenant House face many obstacles to achieving independence. The majority of street youth have experienced physical, sexual and or emotional abuse, often at the hands of the adults that were responsible for taking care of them.

Covenant House Vancouver exists for those young people for whom there is often no one else – young people who have either willingly fled physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse or those who have been forced from their homes.
